Accident in Macclesfield
At around 7.30am this morning (27th May), firefighters were called to reports of a collision on Holehouse Lane, Macclesfield.
On arrival at the scene crews found the incident involved two cars, a large goods vehicle and a heavy goods vehicle. One person was trapped as a result of the collision.
Three fire engines attended, one from Macclesfield, one from Winsford and one from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service
Firefighters used specialist hydraulic cutting equipment to release the casualty, they were then passed to the care of paramedics.
Crews were detained at the scene for around 40 minutes.
