Appeal to trace wanted Macclesfield man

Police are appealing to the public to help trace a wanted man from Macclesfield.

Samuel Cannon, who is known as Sam, lives in Macclesfield, but also has links to the Birmingham area.

The 31-year-old is wanted in connection with an assault that occurred in the Bollington area on Sunday 6 June.

Cannon is described as white, around 6’ 2” tall and of proportionate build. He has short brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who sees Sam or has information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call Cheshire Constabulary immediately on 101 quoting IML 1005596.
