Biddulph Elects 2021/22 mayor

At tonight’s annual general meeting of Biddulph town council Biddulph town council elected new mayor and deputy mayor for the year 2021/22.

Councillor Sylvia Rushton was elected as Mayor with Councillor Jim Garvey elected deputy mayor.

Councillor Rushton announced that her charities for the year would be Staffordshire sight loss association, Biddulph food banks and a Charity box where any local charities in need at the end of the year will be able to use.

Various councillors thanked Councillor John Jones for his service as mayor for the last 12 months.
