Fourteenth gold medal for Moorlands Paralympian, Lee Pearson

Equestrian Lee Pearson from Cheddleton in the Staffordshire Moorlands has won his third gold medal in the Tokyo Paralympics and his fourteenth Paralympic title of his career. Lee and his horse Breezer won their latest gold medal in the Dressage Individual Freestyle Test on Sunday. Talking about Lee’s achievement, Alan White, Leader at Staffordshire County Council said: “This is another remarkable win for Lee and he continues to deliver competition after competition. He’s a great role model for people who want to be the best in their field and has definitely helped put Staffordshire on the map. As a county, we’ve been well represented in both the Olympic and Paralympic Games and we’re incredibly proud of all our athletes.”
