LEEK TOWN SIGN SIX PLAYERS FOR NEW SEASON
LEEK Town football club have been busy this weekend with the signing of six players who have joined the club for next season.
Town, started the signings by announcing midfielder Tom Reilly who has an eye for goal and joins the club from Defn Druids and has previously played for Accrington Stanley, Eskilstuna City, Bangor City and Prestatyn Town.
Joining him is Tom Freeman, who can play anywhere on the left hand side. Freeman, joins from Skelmersdale United and is also a Wembley FA Vase and promotion winner with Wrrington Rylands.
Liam Buckley has also joined Leek and he is highly rated and joins from 1874 Northwich and can play either right or left back and his previous clubs include Cefn Druids and Chester City.
Jake Avery also has signed on for Town and joins the club from Belper Town and can play either left of right wing. Blues fans will no doubt remember the terrific goal he scored against the Staffordshire Moorlands outfit last season with Hanley Town and he has previously played for Uttoxeter Town.
The vastly experienced Phil Mooney has also put pen to paper and will bring experience to the centre of defence. Mooney, joins the club from Cefn Druids and has previously played for Warrington Town, Skelmersdale Uniyed and Widnes.
Finally Saul Milovanovic has joined the blues from Matlock Town and is a talented and technical midfielder. His previous clubs include Huddersfield Town, Norwich City, Kettering Town and Miramar Rangers.
