Manifold show going ahead in August

The organisers of the manifold show have confirmed the event will definitely be going ahead on August 14th at Ilam.

Bruce Daniels one of the organisers for the show told Churnet sound

“We are definitely going ahead on 14th August.

Trade Stand entries are coming in fast with a closing date of 1st August.

In the Heavy Horse section extra classes have been added for Clydesdales to give greater opportunities for exhibitors.

In the Horticulture tent there is a new class for handmade items using a new skill developed during lockdown and we expect a range from facemasks to Dundee cakes. Come and show us your expertise if you’ve become a wood turner or a welder. Whilst you’re at it bring the tallest thistle you can find, without roots, as there’s a fun class for that also.

Bring your four-legged friend with you as there is a Dog Show and Terrier Racing.

Entry price remains at the bargain £5 so come along and car share wherever possible.”
