Police recover stolen car in Cheadle

Police in Cheadle were called about a suspicious abandoned vehicle in Cheadle this evening (July 22).

aAfter investigating the vehicle and contacting the vehicles owner it was discovered the vehicle had been stolen.

Officers from Staffordshire police recovered the vehicle and are urging people to report suspicious vehicles

a spokesperson for the Staffordshire Moorlands neighbourhood policing team said

”Local Officers were called about a suspicious abandoned vehicle in the Cheadle area. The vehicles owner was contacted and the vehicle was found to be stolen. The vehicle has now been recovered. If you see any suspicious vehicles in the area please report this.”
