Spring has sprung!

The clocks have changed and we've finally arrived in Spring - the season filled with birdsong, yellow daffodils, and lambs bleating in the fields. Or so literature would have you believe.

Sometimes Spring can be unpredictable, you can be sunburnt on Friday and have to dig out your scarf on Monday. If you've dared to take the cover off the barbeque, it's already waterlogged, so it only feels right to grumble about the British weather.

But there's one thing we love more than the national pastime of complaining about the rain, and that's talking about our favourite books. Our library staff have selected some more great reads for you to enjoy, this time all on the theme of Spring.

We present you with wildlife galore, criminals on the run, and enlightenment with Buddhist principles - what more could you ask for while you wait for the puddles to evaporate from the patio?
