Statement - man detained

Just after 8.45pm yesterday (Thursday 11 April), with assistance from member of the public, we detained a man in the Bucknall area of Stoke-on-Trent.

A 30-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of burglary with intent to steal.  

He remains in custody.
