Road works set for new Congleton link road

Congleton Town Council report that Graham, the contractor for Congleton’s new Link Road has issued a traffic management update.

Chelford Road, Somerford (24-28 May 2021)

There will be temporary 2-way traffic lights in place 24 hours a day on Chelford Road, adjacent to Goodwin’s Pool to enable the construction of a new field access.

Holmes Chapel Road, Somerford (24 May-4 June 2021)

There will be temporary 3-way traffic lights in place between the hours of 7.30 am and 6.30 pm to enable the construction of

a new footpath. When completed the footpath will provide a connection to Holmes Chapel Road and the entrance to the River Dane Holiday Park.
