Local radio for Stoke-on-Trent  & Newcastle-Under-Lyme. We are a not-for-profit digital radio station, Keeping the region informed and entertained. 100% local, made locally, by locals, for locals. Alongside creating an excellent service which enables community groups to spread their message, one of our main aims is to combat social isolation. 

Churnet Sound offers local training opportunities for people of all abilities and ages. We run a number of events to help promote business growth and mental well being in the area.

Churnet sound also operates an event roadshow and PA hire service across the region

The service is funded through grant opportunities, Commercial sponsorship and advertising. 

The radio station launched online only in March 2021 and launched on DAB across Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle -under- Lyme on October 15th 2023,
