A Cracking Easter at Black Country Living Museum

Black Country Living Museum’s Cracking Easter activities (Sat 9 – Sun 24th April) will get you springing into the new season, with plenty of fun activities, a fete and brand new historic characters.Bring the family along to explore the Museum's canalside village, as costumed characters are busily preparing for their Easter plans – can you join in the celebrations and help the historic characters get ready for ‘A Cracking Easter’?

Follow the activity trail around BCLM's 26-acre site, as characters partake in all sorts of crafty activities and traditions. From egg-dyeing and pudding-making, to getting ready for an egg-citing Easter holiday, everyone is getting into the seasonal spirit! Keep your eyes peeled for the curious character of the Pace Egger as they explore the village delivering eggs. Make sure to visit the Easter Fete, where the celebration continues, and children can try their hand at some traditional street games and a skittle alley! If you’re feeling peckish after all the fun, have a taste of some traditional Easter baking and grab a hot cross bun from the cake shop. Then, if you’ve got room, remember to enjoy some of BCLM's famous Hobbs and Son’s fish and chips. Plus, all of your usual Museum favourites – learn about traditional chain and nail making with live demonstrations, take a ride on a vintage bus and treat yourselves to some hard-boiled sweets from T.Cook’s sweet shop.
