AMOS AND HALL SIGN FOR VALIANTS

PORT Vale have announced two new signings, subject to EFL and FA approval.

Experienced goalkeeper Ben Amos has joined the club and joins the Valiants on a two-year deal that will see him remain at Vale Park until the summer of 2026.

Since making his professional debut for Manchester United in 2008, Amos has gone on to rack up more than 300 professional appearances to his name across Premier League, Championship, League One levels amongst others.

Bringing a wealth of goalkeeping experience to Vale Park, Amos most recently spent three years at League One side, Wigan Athletic, making 83 appearances and keeping 26 clean sheets across all competitions for The Latics.

Also joining the Valiants is defender, Connor Hall, who has re-joined the club from Colchester United for an undisclosed fee, subject to EFL and FA approval.

Hall, 31, rejoins The Valiants following a season and a half with The U’s on a deal that will see the centre back remain at Vale Park until the summer of 2026.

After originally joining The Valiants from Harrogate Town in January 2022, Hall quickly established himself as a firm fan favourite amongst the Vale faithful with his quality on the ball and robust defensive capabilities off it, becoming a mainstay in the side that would later go on and win the 2021/22 Sky Bet League Two Play Offs at Wembley Stadium.
