Appeal after bus driver spat at

We are appealing for information after a bus driver was spat at in Stoke-on-Trent.

It happened at around 7.15am on Friday 23 February on Dividy Road, Bentilee, after a woman failed to show the bus driver a valid bus ticket.

This led to a verbal altercation, which then resulted in the bus driver being spat at by the woman.

We think the woman also verbally abused the driver.

We are reviewing CCTV at the time of the incident.

If you were on the bus at the time or have any information that could help us with our enquiries, please get in touch. You can call us on 101, quoting incident 180 of 25 February, or message us using Live Chat on our website.
