Appeal following theft of milk float and car

We are appealing for information after a milk float and a car were stolen.

We went to Weston Road, Weston Coyney, at 5.45am on Friday (5 January) following reports that a milk float had been stolen.  

Its believed a white Mitsubishi 4x4 vehicle was seen driven in convoy with the stolen milk float following the theft.

The milk float contained the victim’s Ford Fiesta car keys and a wallet.

The victim’s Ford Fiesta was also reported stolen before 6.30am on Friday (5 January) from an address on Coleridge Drive, Cheadle.

The float was recovered in the Caverswall area and the Fiesta was found abandoned on Carlton Avenue, Mill Hill.

The victim was not injured.

We are reviewing CCTV of the areas at the time of the thefts.
