Appeal for information following serious collision

We are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Stoke-on-Trent recently.

We were called to Leek Road, Bucknall, at 10.50pm on Friday (29 September) following reports of a serious collision involving a car and a pedestrian.

Officers went to the scene with colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service and West Midlands Ambulance Service.

The pedestrian, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital. He remains in a critical but stable condition.

A woman, the driver of a black Audi, stayed at the scene to help officers with their inquiries.
