Arts centre to host live music fundraiser for Ukraine

The Foxlowe Arts Centre in Leek is hosting a special live music fundraiser, ‘FoxAid’ for the Ukraine crisis on Sunday 20th March. Bands will play from 1pm until 10.30pm with a line up which includes One Million Fingers, Dom Morgan, Dog Train, Vertigo Fish, Dead Beat Damsels, Helen Walford Band, Jaxhill, Field Manual, Rick Ford and No Man’s Land. All the bands are playing for free and sound engineers have also offered their services for no charge. Tickets are priced at £7, with all the proceeds going to the DEC – British Red Cross Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. FoxAid organiser Dave Swarbrook said: “We are encouraging as many people as possible to turn up throughout the day, even if it’s just for an hour or so. This is all about generating as much money as possible for Ukraine and I hope even if people can’t attend that they will buy a ticket.” Tickets for Fox Aid are available at The Foxlowe or online at www.wegottickets.com/event/540920 You can donate to the DEC- Red Cross Ukraine Appeal at DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal | British Red Cross
