Cheadle academy raise over £3,600 for cancer research

The Cheadle Academy have raised over £3,600 for cancer research after holding their own race for life event.

Students at the academy completed a 5K run or walk In hot weather to raise funds for the charity.

In total £3,688.80 was raised for cancer research by the school.

A spokesperson for the school said

“We are so proud of our amazing fundraisers who raised a staggering £3688.80 for Cancer Research. Thank you to everyone who got involved and supported this fabulous event.”
