Christmas tree stolen from Roundabout

A Christmas tree has been stolen from a Cheadle Roundabout.

A Christmas tree was installed on the Roundabout at the junction of Tape street and Chapel Street in Cheadle ahead of a Christmas event in the town on November 19th to help ring in the festive season.

On Monday evening police say two women were seen on the roundabout removing the Christmas tree and dragged it along the A52 towards the Lamplighter pub.

Alison Nowicki, PCSO in the Staffordshire Moorlands said

“At approx 2025 on Monday 14th November, 2 females were seen on the roundabout at Chapel St/Tape St junction. They have removed one of the Christmas trees and dragged in the direction of The Lamplighter.
