COHEN APPOINTED ASSISTANT HEAD COACH
Stoke City have appointed Chris Cohen as Assistant Head Coach.
The 37-year-old joins the Potters from Lincoln City where he held the same role.
His time at the LNER Stadium follows spells with Nottingham Forest, Luton Town and Southampton, gaining coaching experience across the top three tiers of English football.
The former midfielder’s accession into coaching followed a playing career which saw him make over 400 senior appearances for West Ham United, Yeovil Town and Forest.
Sporting Director Jonathan Walters said: “I am delighted to welcome Chris to Stoke City. He has an excellent reputation within the game and his work is highly regarded by coaches, players and club owners alike.
“Chris works very closely with players on an individual basis to help develop their attributes for the team.
“I’m looking forward to seeing him coaching at Stoke City and offering guidance to the talented players we undoubtedly have within our squad.”
