Congleton Police investigating two residential burglaries

Police are investigating two residential burglaries that have been reported in the Congleton area over the last couple of days. Both happened in the Mossley area , Cedar Court and Leek Road.

A spokesperson for Congleton police said

"Thankfully this type of crime is still rare.

Below are some tips to help prevent burglaries:

*Be aware of what can be seen through the windows

*Put lights on timers

*Install motion sensor lights and CCTV

*Get to know your neighbours

*Dont leave tools lying around

*Please report any suspicious activity on 101 , your local police will be working 24 hours a day over the Christmas period to keep you safe.
