Congleton Pride announces 2021 date and line-up

Following the success of the 2019 event, the organisers of Congleton Pride have announced a date for their 2021 event. The date will be Saturday 21st August and will take place in High Street, Congleton.


Trustee of Congleton Pride , Richard Walton said “We are really pleased to be back following the disappointment of not being able to run the event last year due to Covid restrictions”. “The 2019 Pride was an incredible success and its thanks to the people of Congleton , the Town Council and sponsors that we are able to come back with an exciting event for 2021”.


This years Pride event will run from 10am until 4pm in the High street and in the evening will move to the Vale club. Richard continued “we will feature local artists and will headline with the family-friendly drag queen, Miss Blair, who is sure to entertain the crowds!”


The day event is completely free and there will have a fun fair for the kids, a rainbow painted fire engine and over 30 stalls including local crafts, retail, food, charities and community organisations. To celebrate Pride Month, Congleton Town Hall is displaying a rainbow flag throughout the month of June.
