Congleton's Civic Services for Remembrance

The town of Congleton will unite to pay tribute at Remembrance Services.

On November 11, a two-minute silence and a short service will be held at the Cenotaph, Lawton Street, Congleton at 11am.

Then on Remembrance Sunday (November 13) - a silence, wreath laying ceremony and service will be held in the same location - starting at 10.50am and expected to finish by 12 noon. Members of the public have been invited to join the parade, which leaves West street Car Park at 10.30am. Road closures will be in place from 10.30am until the end of the service. The event is organised by Congleton Town Council in association with the Congleton Branch of the Royal British Legion.

Congleton Town Hall will be illuminated with Remembrance poppies as the town unites to remember those who gave their lives in service to our country. The display will be lit until Monday 14 November from 5pm-8pm. The town council would like to thank Lightech and Reeds Rains Estate Agents (opposite the Town Hall) for helping to make this happen.
