Driver arrested whilst another vehicle is seized

A driver was arrested by the Road Crime Team on Burton St, Leek last night and is currently in custody. The driver provided a positive roadside drug test.

Drug driving is one of the 'Fatal Four', four key activities that contribute to serious injury and death on UK. The full list is speeding, drink and drug driving, not wearing a seat belt and using a mobile phone while driving.

A vehicle has also been seized in Kingsley, Cheadle for having no insurance. The vehicle was originally stopped for having no number plate on its trailer.
