E-Scooters are illegal on public highways
Cheshire Police issues a warning - With the increase of e-scooters being ridden around Crewe we would like to remind you that it is illegal to use an E-Scooter on a public road, in spaces that are set aside for use by pedestrians and cyclists, including pavements and cycle lanes.
Use of e-scooters, or other powered transporters such as segways, hoverboards, etc are illegal unless used on private land with the landowners permission or at designated trails.
Illegal use of e-scooters can lead to a fine, penalty points on your licence and the e-scooter could be seized.
