EFL PREVIEWS
STOKE City travel to Carrow Road where they will be on Championship duty against Norwich City.
The Canaries have spent the international break in the top six, but they will be looking to bounce back after their good start to the season was ended with a 2-1 defeat at Rotherham and they will be looking to bounce back quickly against the Potters.
Stoke seem to be suffering from travel sickness having only drawn having drawn two and lost three games on their travels and a sequence that has seen them only score just one goal, and a trip to Carrow Road doesn't bode well as City have lost their previous two visits to East Anglia with Norwich winning 3-1 in 2022 and 4-1 back in 2021.
PORT Vale are in action against Northampton Town at Vale Park in league one.
The Valiants have had a fantastic start to the season and are currently fourth in the table on goal difference level with second place and third place Bolton and Exeter with Stevenage on top just a point ahead.
Northampton have started slowly this season and are currently fifteenth in the table having lost their last two games to Wycombe and Oxford and they will be looking to bounce back and get something from the game.
The Valiants are currently unbeaten in their last eight outings, but they will face a tough challenge against Town who have drawn in their last two visits to Vale Park.
CREWE Alexandra have had a steady start to the season and are currently sixth in the table and they face AFC Wimbledon at the Cherry Records Stadium.
The Alex won 4-1 at Forest Green to stun the home side last time out while the Dons lost out 2-1 at home to newcomers to league two this campaign Stockport County.
The railwaymen drew 1-1 on their last visit to South London and the two sides drew 0-0 at the Mornflake Stadium back in January so another close encounter is expected between the two sides.
