Emergency services including 2 air ambulance respond to man in 70s with serious injuries in Biddulph

Two air ambulances alongside land ambulance, police and fire and rescue services were deployed to Biddulph on Wednesday afternoon to an incident at a business premises Slater street.
A man in his 70’s was treated at the scene by a BASICS doctor for serious injuries before being taken to Royal Stoke hospital by land ambulance for further treatment.
A WMAS spokesperson said:
"We were called to an incident at a property on Slater Street in Biddulph, Stoke on Trent just before 12.50pm. An ambulance, two paramedic officers, a BASICS doctor along with the Midlands Air Ambulances from Cosford and Tatenhill were sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews discovered a male patient with serious injuries.
"Ambulance crews provided treatment at the scene before he was conveyed by land ambulance to Royal Stoke Hospital for further treatment; the BASICS doctor travelled on board to continue treatment en route."
