Saturday 22nd May signalled the start of Visit England's English tourism Week.


In Staffordshire the tourism industry is the fourth biggest employer, supporting over 32,000 jobs. In 2019, there were more than 28million visitor trips to the county, generating £1.87bn for the local economy.


Whilst in Cheshire East tourism remains one of the fastest growing areas of the economy and is worth £895 million to the local area; employing 11,500 people.
