Fire crews tackle chimney fire in Cheddleton

Staffordshire fire and rescue service are currently dealing with a chimney fire in Cheddleton.

a fire crew from Leek and the aerial ladder platform from Longton are in attendance.

fire crews say they have located the fore at the top of the chimney and progress is being made to extinguish the fire.

just before 10pm tonight (5/4/21) SFRS posted the update to their social media

“We currently have a crew from Leek and the aerial ladder platform from Longton in attendance at a chimney fire in Cheddleton. Good progress is being made to extinguish the fire which has been located at the top of the chimney.”
