Fire crews tackle Roaches fire

Staffordshire fire and rescue service are currently dealing with a 30 meter by 50 metre fire near to the roaches.

Fire crews from Leek,Longton, Hanley and Cheadle are all in attendance using beaters and a hose jet to tackle the blaze.

just after 4pm (July 20th) a spokesperson for the service said

“We are currently at the scene of a fire on Buxton Road, Ramshaw, near to the Roaches.

Crews from Leek, Longton, Hanley and Cheadle are at the scene and are using a hose reel jet, a main jet and beaters to tackle the 30m by 50m fire.”
