Firefighters at scene of fire involving barns at farm

We are currently at the scene of a fire at a farm in North Staffordshire after barns caught fire.

Crews from Hanley, Leek and Longton went to a farm on Holt Lane, Kingsley, at 10.45am today (15 December) and found barns and a building outside the farm, measuring about 40 metres by 40 meters, well-alight.

Main jets are being used to contain the fire and no one has been reported injured. 

Animals from the area are also being moved to a safe location.

Firefighters remain at the scene.
