STOKE City came away with a point from the Hawthorns with a 1-1 draw against West Brom in the Championship on Sunday.

The Potters opened the scoring on 12 minutes before the Baggies equalised on 35 minutes with Thomas-Asante netting. Attendance: 23,298

Port Vale gained all three points as they beat Wigan Athletic 3-2 in league 1 at Vale Park on Saturday.

The Valiants went into a 2-0 lead in the first half with goals from Chislett on 21 and 43 minutes and they seemed to be coasting to victory until the Latics pulled a goal back on 63 minutes as Sze netted and they equalised with a goal from Wyke on 77 minutes, Vale were not done though as Chislett completed his hatrick on 83 minutes to seal the points. Attendance: 6,701.

CREWE Alexandra were involved in a six goal thriller and ended up sharing the spoils with Accrington Stanley as they drew 3-3 in league 2.

Rowe opened on 4 minutes but the visitors quickly equalised with Nolan on 6 minutes, Demetriou put Alex back in front on 29 minutes to lead 2-0, Crewe skipper Offord was sent off pn 80 minutes and Accrington pulled a goal back on 87 minutes as Woods netted before J Wood puts the visitors in front on 96 minutes but the Alex fired back as Nevitt equalised on 98 minutes. Attendance: 4,012
