Happy Birthday to the NHS

Today is the NHS's 73rd Birthday and we are celebrating by saying a massive thank you to all of the brilliant NHS staff across Staffordshire, Cheshire East and all over the Country.

It has been an extremely challenging year for the NHS and the country as a whole, but also a year of hope.

As the NHS turns 73 the Queen has awarded the George Cross to the National Health Services of the UK, we would like to take the opportunity to celebrate the achievements of one of the nation’s most loved institutions, to appreciate the vital role the service plays in our lives, and to recognise and thank the extraordinary NHS staff – who are there to guide, support and care for us, day in, day out..
