Have your views heard on maternity services in Staffordshire

People have until midnight on Monday July 12to book their places on a virtual event being held on the future of midwifery services in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.

The event is being held on Microsoft Teams on Friday July 16 from 10am until noon.

Heather Johnstone, Together We’re Better Maternity Transformation Programme Director, said: “We’re really encouraged by the response so far and would urge people who wish to attend not to delay registering.

“We need to make sure that the maternity services we are providing are meeting the needs of the local families that use them so it is important we hear as many views as possible.

“But we don’t just want to hear from people who have given birth, we want to hear from anyone who has experience of the maternity services including partners, staff, and those providing support for maternity service users.

“We also want to hear about experiences relating to childbirth and ante-natal services.”

There will be further opportunities for people to have their views heard, including an online survey.

To have your opinions heard register to attend the event.
