Job opportunity with Biddulph Town Council

Biddulph Town Council have an opportunity for a Community support officer, 15 hours per week with a salary of £24,000 pro rata and based at Biddulph Town Hall.

The post reads:

Would you like to help the community of Biddulph by working with voluntary and community groups to enhance the range of community activities in the town and surrounding area? Then this could be the job for you.

You will need some experience of engaging with communities and giving information, advice and guidance, ideally to voluntary and community groups on a range of topics that will help them to be effective.

You will need to have a good understanding of the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector and of the Biddulph community.

Good communication and IT skills are essential.
