Keele uni in top 10 for student satisfaction

Keele University has been ranked among the Top 10 universities in England (broad-based public institutions) for overall Student Satisfaction in this year’s National Student Survey (NSS). Feedback from Keele students submitted for the NSS 2021 has seen students praise the management and organisation of their courses, the feedback they receive from tutors, and the learning resources available to them. Nine Keele subjects have also been ranked in the UK Top 10 for Student Satisfaction. Medical Technology was ranked second in the UK (No.1 in England) and Children's Nursing ranked third in the UK. Keele has also seen seven other subjects achieve UK Top 10 status, including:

• Biology

• Geography

• Mathematics

• Medicine

• Molecular Biology, Biophysics and Biochemistry

• Pharmacy

• Politics and International Relations

The NSS is a high-profile annual survey of nearly half a million final year students across the UK. The survey gathers opinions from students about their time in higher education, asking them to provide honest feedback on what is has been like to study on their course at their university or college. Professor Mark Ormerod, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost said: “A huge amount of work has gone into changing our educational delivery and assessment and how we support students to ensure the best possible student experience in what’s clearly been a very challenging year for universities, and for students and staff alike, responding to the global pandemic. “I’m therefore really pleased that Keele has maintained its historically very strong position within the university sector for overall student satisfaction, and would like to thank all our staff and students who have responded fantastically to a hugely challenging and uncertain external environment.”
