Labour gains at Cheshire East but no party takes control

Following the 4th May elections results have been declared at Cheshire East Council.
No controlling majority has been declared at the council with 33 conservative candidates elected and 31 Labour candidates elected.
16 independents have been elected and 2 Liberal Democrats.
The council was previously ran by a coalition of Labour and independent councillors which could happen again although the Conservative Party are also in a position to take control.
