Leek woman receives covid fine after Running from party

Three Leek women aged between 18 & 20 have received £200 fines for breaching coronavirus restriction.

One 18 year old woman was fined after attending a party in Leek on February 9th. She was located by officers after running from the rear of the premises.

Two other women aged 18 & 20 also received fines at different addresses in Leek.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said

“An 18-year-old woman has been fined for attending a party in Leek on 9 February.

The woman ran from the rear of the premises but was located by officers.

She was issued with a £200 ticket as were two other women aged 18 and 20 from different Leek addresses.”
