Man arrested after officers find 250 cannabis plants
We have arrested a man after finding 250 cannabis plants at a house in Stoke-on-Trent.
A man was seen behaving suspiciously outside of an address in Hanley just after 9pm yesterday (Sunday 19 November).
We sent officers to the area to look for him. He was tracked down by a police dog.
Officers then went inside the address and found an active cannabis grow inside. 250 plants have been seized.
A 35-year-old man, of no-fixed-address, was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis. He is being questioned about the findings in custody today (20 November).
Officers are still at the scene today whilst we clear the plants from inside and investigate.
