Man arrested after officers seize more than 70 cannabis plants and class A drugs
We have arrested a man after we found more than 70 cannabis plants and class A drugs at a home in Stoke-on-Trent.
Officers stopped a man on Wardle Street, Tunstall, at around 1.45pm yesterday (Monday 8 January).
A snap seal bag containing crack cocaine was seized by officers who then went onto search a property in Tunstall.
We found 79 cannabis plants and 20 wraps of crack cocaine, four bags of cocaine and 25 wraps of heroin, worth £570.
All of which have been seized.
A 28-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin, producing a controlled drug – cannabis, possession of a controlled drug – cannabis/cannabis resin and acquiring/using/possessing criminal property.
He remains in custody and inquiries are ongoing.
