Man charged with arson

A man has been charged with arson.

Marcus Beardwood, 37, of Biddulph, has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life.

It comes after we attended a fire at an address on John Street on Monday (5 August).

He is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre tomorrow (Wednesday 7 August).
