McDonald’s “excited” about Leek restaurant

Following the recent news of Staffordshire moorlands district council approving planning permission for a McDonald’s restaurant.
The restaurant which will offer a drive through is set to open in winter.
The restaurant was unanimously approved by Staffordshire Moorlands district council planning committee members on 9th March.
The restaurant will create 120 full and part time jobs and will have litter pickers in the local area 3 times a day.
A McDonald's Spokesperson said
"We are excited about getting on site and starting building works in Leek and look forward to opening in the Winter. The new restaurant will bring significant investment to the local area as well as creating at least 120 full and part time jobs."
