Moorlands police investigating sheep worrying

Police in the Staffordshire Moorlands are investigating after a sheep worrying incident in the Hollington area.

7 lambs and one ewe died on Saturday and a number of other sheep were injured.

The farmer is being assisted by local vets.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101. A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said

“Officers are investigating sheep worrying in the Hollington area. 7 lambs and 1 ewe died yesterday morning a number of other sheep were injured. The farmer is being assisted by local vets. No other animals were injured. Police incident number 157-24/02 if you have any information”
