MACCLESFIELD gained an impressive 3-0 win over Matlock Town in the Northern Premier League Premier Divison.

In the West Division of the Northern Premier League Chasetown beat Leek Town 2-1 with the home side opening the scoring on 51 minutes with a goal from Rowley and they doubled their lead in the 58th minute with a goal from Langston. Leek did gain a consolation goal late on as Harrison scored for the visitors on 88 minutes. Attendance 221.
Kidsgrove Athletic remain top of the table with a 4-1 victory over local rivals Hanley Town.
Athletic took the lead on 45 minutes with a goal from Garlick and the home side put on the pressure in the second half with two goals fron Knapper (60, 67 minutes) and Ofosu to gain all three points with Town scoring a consolation goal from the penalty spot with Ofori converting the spot kick on 86 minutes. Attendance 318.
Nantwich Town took the points with a 3-0 victory over Vauxhall Motors with goals from Ali on 29 minutes, Evans on 44 minutes to give them a 2-0 lead at half-time before Bourne netted on 64 minutes. Attendance 168.
Newcastle Town suffered defeat losing out to Hednesford Town by a goal to nil with Town scoring in the 76th minute for the visitors with Dixon scoring the only goal of the game. Attendance 221.
In the North West Counties League Abbey Hulton United drew 3-3 with Sandbach United, Alsager Town beat New Mills 2-1 and finally Congleton Town beat Uttoxeter Town 4-0 in the Midlands Premier Division.
