Pictures: Cheadle Town - Platinum Events in the Town Centre and Tean Road Recreation Ground.

Our roving reporter was out and about again on this Royal Platinum Bank Holiday. The Cheadle High Street Party and Charity Day was in full flow on arrival. The street was full of charity stalls and market stalls, music, table and chairs to relax at were set up in the street, and live music was playing. Also there was a display of scooters by the Cheadle Scooter Club and some classic cars. The street buzzing with families enjoying themselves on this nice sunny day.

The Tean Road Recreation Ground had other activities going on. The Cheadle U3A Ukulele Group were playing, a punch and Judy entertainer and the Cheadle historical Society had a display in the marquee. Families were really enjoying the activities and having picnics.

There is a fun fair for the Bank Holiday Days.

This is only the second day of events for the Town and there is a lot more to follow.
