Our roving reporters were out and about again yesterday (18/6/22). They visited the Flash Flower Festival and were made very welcome and enjoyed a cup of tea and a piece of cake in the lovely church in a beautiful setting. Flash was also celebrating the Flash Loyal Union Friendly Society which was started in 1846 which was known by the name of the Teapot Club by 1906. Margaret Parker explained about the society and has written books about Flash and the local areas. There are display boards around the church which give historical information of the area.
Find below some photos of the lovely displays. The Flower Festival is on until the 21/6/22.
