Police close A53 in Leek following Road traffic collision

Emergency service in attendance on Broad street, Leek

Police have closed Broad street Leek this afternoon (March 13th) following a road traffic collision.

Emergency services including air ambulance crews are in attendance.

Police are currently directing traffic away from the incident with the road closed from the roundabout at the junction with Newcastle road.

The Midlands air ambulance has Landed at the nearby Westwood golf course.

With land ambulances also in attendance

First potteries have put a diversion in place for the number 18 bus

“Due to an RTC service 18 is unable to serve the section of Broad Street, Leek between Junction Road and Compton in both directions. Buses are diverting via Junction Road and Compton.
