Police release CCTV after Hanley assault which left two men unconscious in the street


Police want to speak to these two men


Officers have released CCTV stills of two men they would like to speak to in connection with an assault that took place in Hanley on Sunday (5 September).

Police were called at 5.18am to Stafford Street in the town and found two unconscious men at the scene. A 19-year-old man and a 25-year-old man were conveyed to hospital by the ambulance service. The 19-year-old has since been discharged from hospital. The 25-year-old man remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital.  Officers reviewed CCTV footage of the area at the time and are appealing for anyone who recognises the men pictured to get in touch. The men are described as black, one wearing a white, short-sleeved t-shirt and black waistcoat with blue jeans, the other wearing all dark clothing.
