Police respond to serious assault in Leek town centre
Police in Leek have responded to what they are calling a serious assault in Leek town centre tonight (January 3rd).
Armed response officers attended Leek town centre following a serious assault. The offender was located by a police dog after he fled the scene.
The offender was located by police dog Kev after being located hiding underneath a vehicle on a driveway.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire police dogs and armed response said
“S1 Dogs have attended a serious assault in Leek Town centre tonight after the offender fled on foot from response officers. He tried to hide underneath a car on a driveway but was located by PD Kev and arrested .
