Police urge caution for dog walkers and parents using Newpool meadows
Police in Biddulph are urging dog owners to be vigilant whilst out walking their dogs.
Police have had reports of a substance found in Newpool Meadows, both wrapped and loose, that is believed to be rat poison.
Police say they are monitoring the area but are urging caution and vigilance for those with dogs and young children using the area.
A spokesperson for the Staffordshire Moorlands neighbourhood policing team said “We have had reports of a substance found in Newpool Meadows, both wrapped and loose, that is believed to be rat poison. We are monitoring the area but please be vigilant when out with dogs or young children.”
